We are seeking to appoint a Service Desk Engineer to join the busy IT service desk team within the newly-formed RCM Digital department, which supports over 1700 users based in South Kensington. The postholder will report to the Technology Manager and act as one of the main point of contacts for calls coming into the service desk and provide response and 1st/2nd line support to the RCM’s IT users. This includes receiving, documenting, troubleshooting and actively resolving service desk issues and requests from end users via telephone call, e-mail or at desk-side.
We are seeking candidates with the following skills and attributes:
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office 365, Outlook and Windows 7/10 maintenance, administration and troubleshooting
- Intermediate experience of Hardware equipment; Active Directory & Server administration; SCCM; Telephone VOIP Support (Mitel)
- PowerShell / Scripting skills
- Excellent inter-personal and customer service skills, ideally in a similar internal support environment, with an approachable attitude and a genuine interest in IT
- Effective problem solving and prioritisation skills with a keen attention to detail
